I'm Beth
Not long ago, I decided that I was tired of my perimenopausal hormones controlling my weight, my figure, my emotions, how I looked~essentally controlling my life. I had long been "in tune" with how certain foods effected my body and how I felt from my experiences over the last 15 years learning to control my Colitis naturally through lifestyle modifications including diet and stress management. I figured if I could learn to control that without medications, I certainly could learn to manage perimenopause and eventually menopause the same way.
And I was right!
Now I want to share what I have learned with other women~women just like you. Just a few years ago I turned 50 and bought my first bikini in over 17 years! (My daughter turned 17 that same year, so you may notice a correlation there.)
I am redefining middle age for all women~women who see midlife as a new beginning, not the beginning of the end. I would love to have you on the journey with me. Midlife does not have to mean a "battle" with our bodies that is impossible to win! You CAN beat menopausal symptoms and get in shape--I sure am--and I am going to show you how, too!

I sat down last night and really thought about what I've noticed that has changed over the past month, and I'm extremely impressed and proud of myself. I still can't get out of bed super early in the morning, but I don't feel as tired and drained throughout the day. Cravings for cereal, chips and sour cream, and even sweets have decreased. I still wander into the kitchen, but I'm able to stop, turn myself around, and not just randomly eat whatever I can find. I don't hit a wall mid-afternoon, even after I've been sitting all day. My energy lasts longer. I'm more comfortable in and with my body and more confident. Finding 'new' foods to eat is fun! I'm….trying new foods, and experimenting with recipes and food combinations. And I love it…. I'm becoming more flexible and less achy. It doesn't hurt as much to sit on the floor, or when I sit in a chair for hours on end. I'm having an easier time moving around.
